Kara Price, Instructor
My career started as a professional dancer in Chicago, where I was first introduced to Pilates and yoga. I quickly fell in love with the added flexibility, core strength, and alignment benefits.
I have now been a private instructor for 20 years and love working with my clients to create a session that is custom tailored to their needs.
Pilates and yoga benefit everyone. Whether healthy, injured, young, old, big, or small, you will see and feel the difference a private session makes in your mind and body. Pilates is an exercise routine designed to create resistance training through the strength and flexibility of your postural muscles. Yoga is a way of life that can calm and focus the mind, release tension from your body physically, and increase lung capacity. They are a winning combination of working your whole body; physically, mentally, and spiritually!

Testimonials
Karen Pass, Educator
“I am feeling and seeing so much from just one month of yoga and Pilates. I am feeling a renewal in my body. Mentally and physically they have both given me better health and well being in a stressful time... With my chronic illness and arthritis, I have not had pain in my legs, my knee feels so much better and my hands feel better. It shows how much these two methods help the body as well as the soul. Thanks so much!”
Michelle Hallman
"I wanted to say thank you again for the Pilates session on Monday. You are an excellent teacher with both expertise and strong intuition. You helped me to activate neuro-muscular pathways that have been dead for a long time - not just in my knee, but in my right foot and hip. Not only was my posture better today, but I walked with only a fraction of the discomfort I have had for years in my foot/hip. Incredible!."

What should I wear to my session?
You will want to wear something comfortable that allows easy flexibility. I have a private changing area, so if you are heading to the session from work you can easily change. Many clients enjoy wearing socks during the session.
